HFN staff travels to the Maritimes to meet member stores

After being unable to travel during the pandemic, Sofia Constantinou and Callie Farrell were excited to hit the road again in 2023 visiting Health First Network (HFN) member stores across Canada.

Callie is HFN’s product education and member development manager, while Sofia serves as the organization’s associate director of business and member development.

HFN is a group of independent natural health and wellness retailers from coast to coast, comprising 111 members and 150 stores.

“Many of us know the power of connection, human interaction, and in-person contact, especially in the natural health and wellness,” says Sofia. “Our relationships with our members are a critical part of our job. We truly value the time we have with them, especially when we are able to meet in person.”

During their visits, Sofia and Callie discussed business opportunities with member stores and provided training on the member-exclusive Health First supplement brand.

“We always provide webinars and offer our online learning platform academy,” explains Callie, “but the quality and depth of the conversations and questions when we meet in person are unmatched.

“Since the beginning of 2023, we have travelled to Alberta, BC, Manitoba, Saskatchewan, throughout Ontario, and parts of Quebec. We finished our cross-country adventure in late October on Canada’s east coast, visiting members in Nova Scotia and New Brunswick.”

“To make the best use of our time in our sprawling provinces, we have long days, with multiple flights and lengthy car rides,” adds Sofia. “On some of our week-long adventures, we covered over 2,000 kilometres by car in less than five days. We enjoy our time on the road together and come back to the office inspired by our members, their businesses, and their passion for the industry.”
