Nutters’ Round Up For Mental Health campaign raises more than $20,000
Nutters Everyday Naturals continues to support the Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA) and its fundraising efforts across western Canada.
This past May, Nutters—with 25 stores throughout Alberta, BC, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba—introduced its first company-wide Round Up For Mental Health campaign, which runs in conjunction with the United States’ Mental Health Month and Canada’s Mental Health Week.
The month-long campaign raised $22,719 across the 25 Nutters communities, with 10,523 customers donating to the cause.
Hilary Sirman, donor relations director for the CMHA in Alberta, said, “we extend our deepest thanks to the 25 Nutters Everyday Naturals stores and head office for your annual Round Up for Mental Health campaign. We sincerely thank you for our partnership and Nutters’ genuine commitment to supporting mental health for your customers.”
Nutters president Brad Winsor expressed, “mental health is important to all of our team members across our 25 Nutters communities from BC to Manitoba. The commitment to support local CMHA offices and their programs is now part of our culture and I'm confident the campaign will continue to grow each year as we move forward. Getting to this first-ever milestone of a successful company-wide fundraising campaign has been a red-letter occasion for everyone at Team Nutters.”
Nutters’ commitment to mental health in the communities it serves began in 2022 with the introduction of the annual Mental Health Golf Classic in Medicine Hat, Alberta, home of Nutters’ flagship store and head office.
To date, Nutters’ combined efforts have raised $88,700 for CMHA. As part of Nutters partnership with the CMHA, the funds raised by each store are sent to the local CMHA office in that region or community, ensuring focused local distribution of funds generated by each store.
